Hello Aqua Computer experts,
I need a little help with Splitty 9 and Active versions ...
What are differences and how to put jumper settings for 8 - 3 pin BitFenix 230 mm FANs (I think they are not PWM) ?
Did I need Quaddro here ?
With 3 pin fans your only choice is the Splitty 9, both the Splitty 9 active and the Quadro/Octo only support 4 pin PWM fans. If your fan controller can support 8 fans on the Splitty 9 you have to check the manual of the motherboard or controller.
I can't say anything about the jumper settings, I don't use the Splitty 9.
Thank You for your reply. So now I am sure that my planing is right.
I just need to connect all together and install software to configure all.
Slitty 9 has one jumper between FAN mode 3-pin and aquabus mode 4-pin.
If you connect Fans to the Splitty9, you need the Jumper in the Fan position.
If the Jumper is in Aquabus position, the reading of the fan speed will be unreliable / not working.
Thank you, so my planning is perfect now.
