This depends on the product.
If you have a watercooling block with RGBpx Cable, you can usethis Adapterto connect the Cooler to the Mainboard RGB Port and control it with the Asus Software.
If you have an Aquacomputer Products that require an USB Connection, it is impossible to control these LEDs with the Asus ROG Software.

I believe the answer to your first question is NO because Asus does not provide a header that lets you "inject" LED data to the LEDs built into the mobo. You can control them with Corsair iCue (which sucks for many reasons) or OpenRGB or Signal RGB. These programs communicate with the Aura controller chip on the mobo and can take control of the mobo LEDs. The bad news is there is no way to sync these programs to Aquasuite.

The answer to your second question is YES but you will need the #53285 RGBpx Adapter to connect the Aquacomputer device RGBpx LEDs to your mobo "standard" DRGB header which Asus calls ADD_Header or ADD GEN2_1. These headers have 4 pin positions but one pin is missing. These are for +5VDC individually addressable LEDs. DO NOT plug RGBpx LEDs into an Asus 4-pin (with all 4 pins present) RGB Header. These are for 12VDC LEDs. If you plug RGBpx LEDs into a 12VDC RGB header you will burn out the LEDs. Since there is nothing physically preventing you from doing this it is an easy mistake to make.

It is true that Aquasuite cannot control mobo LEDs but it is not correct to say that Aquasuite can only control products manufacturered by Aquacomputer. They offer the #53282 adapter that allows you to connect DRGB LEDs with a "standard" connector to an RGBpx port. They also have the Splitty4 which is specifically designed to allow connection of LED products from Corsair and NZXT to an RGBpx port. Unlike some other companies that do everything they can to lock you into their proprietary ecosystem (like Corsair), Aquacomputer came up with the RGBpx connector (Molex Pico-Blade) that is far superior to the horrible "standard" DRGB connector, and products that make it easy to connect their RGBpx LEDs to "standard" DRGB ports and to connect LED products made by other manufacturers to Aquacomputer RGBpx ports.

it's just a sata powered RGB splitter. it doesn't allow aquasuite to control the motherboard.
it just repeats RGB data it receives from either the motherboard, or an aquacomputer controller, to all the RGB outputs, where you'd connect strips, fans or anything else. But they will all play the same effect.
It works the same way as a fan PWM splitter... but for RGB. it's a fancy multigang socket.

There is no way to control the motherboard unless aquacomputer codes that into aquasuite.
You can't control aquacomputer RGB controllers in Armory crate.
You'll have to use both software

Remayz is right - Aquasuite cannot control the mobo (or RAM or GPU) LEDs unless Aquacomputer adds the capability. I refuse to install Armoury Crate or Aura so I use OpenRGB to control my mobo and RAM LEDs. Signal RGB can also do this and is a popular choice for gamers that want game video to control LED strips behind the monitor (or wherever).

This limitation is unfortunate but IMHO mobo LEDs really don't do much anyway, at least on my Asus boards. I use OpenRGB to set the mobo LEDs to a solid color and a chase fade effect on the DIMMs, It also controls 6 Logo LEDs on my Asus TUF 3080 GPU. I have 2 Farbwerk360's for everything else. There is no sync between OpenRGB and Aquasuite. There is also no sync between the 2 Farbwerks. An Aquacomputer Dev mentioned in a post a few months ago that they were going to release an update that provides sync between multiple Aquacomputer devices with RGBpx ports. I really want to be able to sync my 2 Farbwerk360's and hope they add this capability soon.
