Hi - I have a DDC pump from EKWB, that is powered by SATA, and has a 4pin PWM connector (with only 2 wires) to control for speed. I never had any issue controlling speed plugging this into the motherboard and controlling with software like Argus Monitor.

Using the OCTO, I plug this in, and it registers the pump speed (4470) - but there appears to be no way to control speed. Changing the 'power' slider in the Aquasuite software does nothing, and it's being powered externally by SATA anyhow so I'm not sure that should work in the first place. How can I control just the PWM signal from the OCTO? I don't have any issues controlling all my other fans, but I do use the power slider to do that.

Any help on how to control PWM speed on a pump using the OCTO would be helpful - thank you!

The DDC has a narrower PWM range.
Most of the speed change happens between like 10 and 50% PWM, so if you changed it above that, it would remain at full speed.

When you set the power slider say to 20 or 30%, do you see the speed change?

You were exactly correct - I am managing to control it now by setting power between 10% and 48%. I'm not sure why pulling it all the way down to 0 wasn't working before, maybe just needed a couple restarts of the system/software/service. Thank you!!
