Hi!

Wo ist der Unterschied?

Patchkabel Cat.5e FTP 125Mhz

oder

Patchkabel Cat.5e S-FTP 125MHz

wenn ich mich recht erinnere steht das S für shielded, also abgeschirmt.

vielleicht kann des noch jemand anderes bestätigen

man bekommt immer alles doppelt und dreifach zurück ;D

Bei STP sind die Adernpaare geschirmt ,bei S/STP zusätzlich noch ein schirm um alles

UTP (Unshielded Twisted Pair)
STP (Shielded Twisted Pair)
S/STP (Screened Shielded Twisted Pair)
S/UTP (Screened Unshielded Twisted Pair)

Soweit war ich auch schon. Aber, was F heißt, kann mir auch keiner sagen. Laut Wikipedia sind FTP und S-FTP identische Kabel.

das F steht für folie, bzw englisch foil

das S steht dann wohl noch für ein metallgeflecht drumherum -> stabiler und knickresistenter (glaub ich)
