Aquaero 5 Pro + INS-FM17

Aquaero 5 Pro + INS-FM17

I have done alot of reading but all I can find is related to an Aquaero 4.
As the subject suggests I have an Aquaero 5 Pro and a Koolance INS-FM17 (NO FREQUENCY BOARD) just the basic flow meter.
How can i connect this to my AE5 Pro?
I would like to use the flow meter connection to leave my fan connectors free.
Which of the 3 pins do i use as the INS-FM17 only has 2 wires?

Well I have found the solution.

Use the 2 outside pins on the 3 pin Flow connector. (ground & flow siginal)

I used a calibration value of 197 and it seems to be good.

Koolance INS-FM17 without adapter with Aquaero 5 PRO

Can you please describe how exactly did you plug that sensor to Aquaero 5 PRO, because I tried to plug it using just sensor and pins #1 and #3 (Ground / Flow ) on my Aquaero 5 PRO but i have no data coming =( You said you pluged it without adapter, right?!

I assume you have connected it to the flow sensor on Aquaero using theouter two pins on the connector. You should be getting a reading if so. However a friend of mine did the same and accidentally touched the center pin with one of the wires and this blew the flow meter, so you have to be very careful when wiring them in. Yes you connect it up without the adapter/converter.
