Flow Meter connected to PA2!

jeudi 22 mars 2012, 16:49

Is anyone running a flow meter connected to a PA2?

I am currently using a Koolance INS-FM18 (have a AquaComputer one on order) which when connected to my aquaero 5 XT gives a nice constant reading but as soon as I connect it to one of my PA2's (have tried 3 of them) the reading jumps up and down by around 90%.

Does the PA2 need a firmware update? can it just not handle the flowmeter? as am a little confused why it should be ok on the XT yet all over the place when connected to a PA2.

Thanks :)

Anyone able to try this on their build to see if it works, connecting a flowmeter to a PA2 that is?

Thanks but my OP does say that it works fine connected to the 5XT. I only have an issue when it is connected to any of my PA2's.

I also have an Aquacomputer flow meter pluged into my PA2 & another Aquacomputer flow meter pluged into my AQ5, All work fine & never had any issues with either

Thanks for the replies, I have a AQ one here now so will give it a try when I can.

Does seem strange though that he Koolance one works ok on the XT but not on the PA2.

The A5 has more processing ability and can filter the signal better. I have the same problem and even some fans that worked well on the A5 had rpm sense problems on the PA2s. The guys told me it was because of a dirty signal.
