Power down Aquaero 5 in stand-by mode

My Aquaero 5 stays powered on when my computer is off, because it draws power from the USB port.
Is there any way to shut down the Aquaero together with my computer?
Is there any good use to keep the Aquaro on when the computer is off?

You could set the brightness in standby to 0% and upload a blank picture as standby screen so in the end it would like it is completely off.

Otherwise you can remove/cut the red wire on the USB connector. Make sure that it makes no contact to other parts if you cut it.

But it makes a good night light!
Seriously I just set it to 0 brightness on standby so the screen doesn't light up. I have two rigs + routers and switches in the bedroom so I already have plenty of "night lights".

Also maybe you can disable the USB charge function of the motherboard so it's not powered up when the rig is shut down. Never tried it myself, so I don't know if it's doable.
