Aquasuite CPU Utilization

lundi 15 septembre 2014, 03:20

I leave Aquasuite running on a second monitor with an Overview Page that displays graphs of various temperatures.

Over time (in about 3 or 4 days) Aquasuite increases it's CPU utilization, and reaches the 15% range. That is with nothing else open or running as reported by Task Manager.

Closing and re-opening Aquasuite drops the CPU utilization back down to the 1-2% range after it loads.

Does anyone else experience this, and is there a fix to prevent the increasing CPU utilization (aside from closing and opening Aquasuite)?

I normally turn my system (Win8.1/64) off in the evening, so I do not see the up-time length you do.
So far today I have 10+ hours and the highest I see Task Manager report is 1.7%,
I will leave my system on for a few days and report what happens to me.

When you use the bar and the analog instrument control in the overview pages we have a memory leak in the current version (2014.3).
A workaround is to restart the aquasuite, then is the memory and cpu consumption normal.
When you have many values that change in a short timespan this behavior occurs on.

This and a few more bugs are fixed in the next version.

Thanks Sebastian for the information.

It's good to know that it's a known issue, and will be addressed in a future update.

Can't live without my Overview Pages to monitor system temps.
