Aquaero 6- dual flow sensors?

jeudi 9 octobre 2014, 00:51

Hi is it possible to have 2 flow sensors attached to ae 6 and have separate readings if so what are recommended units
I have rebuilt my wc into separate loops for gpu and gpu( gtx780 ti in sli) have separate temp sensors and would like to have seperate flow levels as it is an expensive beast and I want to make sure nothing else goes wrong ;( x

I have two MPS400 Flow Sensors on my dual loop system, and they work great.

Just remember to assign a different address to the second sensor.

RG- thanks for the reply
I presume I would need to assign the addresses via USB as per pumps and use a Y splitter cable on the flow connector?

Correct, and also remember that if you desire to use the MPS' without the USB Cable connected you will have to use 4 Pin Aquabus Cables to supply the +5V to the MPS'

Also ensure that the "Y" splitter you use includes all 4 wires to both ends.

So the same as I use on my dual pumps- so I would need to plug a y splitter into a second y splitter into a third to get enough connections into the squab us high eg 2 pumps and 2 flow meters
Thanks :D

That's basically the setup that I have. 1st wye - leg one to another wye that connects the two Aquastream XT Pumps - leg two to another wye that connects the two MPS400s.

Use as short a wye as you can. I had one fairly long wye (don't remember the length) that created some intermittent operation. Replaced with a shorter wye and all has been well.
