I have been looking at this cable and setting up aquasuite to cut power if my pump fails.

What is a "mps family device"? I have a Quadro, is it compatible with that? What controller should I buy instead?

The mps series includes the pressure and flow sensors with differential pressure measuring type. At the QUADRO you can shutdown the PC only by Windows using the newest X.23 aquasuite and the Notification area in the Playground.
If you would buy an OCTO you could use this cable: https://shop.aquacomputer.de/product_inf…roducts_id=3488 capable for power down by hardware.
