Multiport lid for ULTITUBE 200 reservoir - tube problem

I have a problem with Multiport.
The tube I put in the cap has no thread - it is pushed in "by force". It does not hold well. After a few days the tube fell out by itself.

This is how it looks now.


Is it supposed to be like this, that it does not screw in, sits poorly, or should I return it?
Please help me how should I install this correctly?

You may not be pushing it in all the way. There is an o-ring and then a hard stop. It will require a fair amount of force and you have to keep the tube aligned perpendicular to the lid. Once it is in there all the way, it should be pretty strong. I have had two of mine hanging for over a year now without any trouble.

Can you push the tube in as far as you think it should go and then post a pic from the other side (with the fitting removed)? We'd be able to see if the tube is fully seated from that angle.
