D5 Next pump - not working?

D5 Next pump - not working?

Hi all, just finished my new build with remote rad and d5 next pump/Res however on the first power up it's giving me nothing other than red lighting. The pump won't turn and the screen isn't working.

Any ideas?

Is the power cable plugged in correctly and are the electronics firmly seated on the pump?
Simply disconnect and reconnect both.

Is the D5 in the computer or on the external radiator?
If it is external, with what kind of power supply?

Yup everything is seated correctly. Like I say, the RGB ring lights up red but there's no other signs of life. It is external and powered by a phobya molex PSU. Its wattage rating should exceed the power draw of the pump and three fans I intended to use (Inc start up power draw).

Then test if it works on the power supply of your computer, if it doesn't work there either and you have already disconnected the electronics it is probably a case for the support.

Tried my PC's PSU, now I have a spinning pump but still no screen and now no lit up RGB ring as well ..

The external Phobya power supplies have repeatedly been blamed for being extremely bad.
There is a chance, that it damaged your pump.
