New: Reinforced Backplate for socket AM5 and 1700

With the Reinforced Backplate, we are now offering a strengthened, highly stable backplate for motherboards with AM5 and 1700 sockets. The increased stability often results in a significantly better cooling performance of the processor cooler compared to backplates moulded from sheet metal.

The back plate is milled from massive aluminum and anodized in black. It also replaces the rear metal plate of the CPU socket and is screwed directly to the CPU retention mechanism of the CPU socket. The rigid assembly reduces deformation of the motherboard in the CPU area to an absolute minimum and protects the sensitive CPU socket - highly recommended for frequent CPU/cooler installation or when using coolers with increased contact pressure.

A plastic foil is applied in the relevant area of the back plate for electric insulation and protection of the delicate pcb tracks in contact with the back plate.

The backplates are available for EUR 22.90 each.
