Hello everyone,


I want to buy this items :

1- aquaero 4.00 USB Fan-Controller, VF-Display with powerbooster

2- Flow sensor "high flow" G1/4 for aquaero, aquastream XT ultra and poweradjust

But I want to know if it works with the pump well : Swiftech MCP655 12v DC Pump with Speed Controller

And what is the maximum of pumps and flow sensor, which can make is with the Control ? and do I need special wiring or the like so that I can control pump ?

Don't forget to order the necessary connection cable for the flow sensor.

The pump will work with an aquaero + powerbooster. You can only connect one pump to fan channel 1 because otherwise the load is to high and will damage the aquaero.

You can connect a second flow sensor to fan channel 4 if you reconfigure it to be used with a flow sensor. Of course in this case you won't be able to use it for a fan anymore.

As long as you don't exceed a load of 10W per channel (15W with powerbooster) you can also connect a few fans via y-adapters to one fan output. Keep in mind that the total load should not exceed 30W or 45W with powerbooster.

With a poweramp you will have almost no limits (up to 42W) but you will always have a voltage drop of 1.5 to 2.0V. If it doesn't matter to you it might be interesting.

That will not work. The poweramp must be connected directly to the PSU and the fan connectors are IN and OUT. You connect IN with one of the fan channels of the aquaero and at OUT whatever you want to power.

I also did not recognize that the MCP655 is the Laing D5 which in my opinion draws too much power. It might work for a while but I think by time it will damage the aquaero.
