Welcome to the AC-Forum

I Think you only need a 240er airplex evo , because when you put two Fans on it @ 5V or 7V you could get a good temperature
I have only a 120er airplex evo and my computer has good tems, too but under full power i reach the 50°C :'(

- Why do I best buy the Eheim 1046 and not an other pump?
the performance is more than enough for most systems, ists much more silent than other pumps and eheims are better than other pups, they can be in use for about 15 years without stopping.

- Will the radiotor stick in my system? I REALLY want that!
how much place do you have?

- Are All Blocks and plugs now chosen right?
sorry, didnt read the tile-list.

- The Evo or te Rev, it's just an personal choise, I won't ask anymore wich one is better .
yes

- Why Are there than better Mod-possibylities with the Rev as CPU Cooler?
already answered

- I want to make my own resevoir, wich plugs do I need?
take "gehäusedurchführungen" and screw it into your reservoir.

I'm back again guys :)

tomorrow is my last day to change things in my order so I have some quick questions ::).

A small list of things my order looks like:

cuplex evo Plexiglas Revision 1.1 (Vierloch Halterung, Plug & Cool) € 64,35
twinplex™ Rev. 1.2 (Graffikkarte GeForce4, Chipsatz, gewinkelte) € 38,39
twinplex™ Rev. 1.2 (Chipsatz, Chipsatz, Plug & Cool) € 36,89
airplex evo 240 (Plug & Cool) € 48,60
Eheim 1046 € 34,20
plug&cool Anschluss-Satz Eheim 1046 € 5,84
Schlauch PUR, glasklar € 9,00
acfluid - farbloser Korrosionsschutz € 4,00
airplex evo Einbaublende 240 € 17,90
T-Verbinder plug&cool Metall € 4,59
Kugelhahn plug&cool Metall € 8,99

Totaal € 272,75

The T-verbinder is to let the water out the system for some reason. After the T-verbinder there comes a little crane to stop and unstop the water.

My radiator Does NOT fit in the upper level of the system. That is not a good thing I thought and I was not happy with that. There is a piece of plank in the middle of where I want to put it and believe me, there is no space to mod something.

But I found an solution. I Figured it out to fit the radiator UNDER that upper level. You can just see a small piece on the picture. I will remove the hard drive rack and won't use the upper 2 5,25" racks. That is my solution and for some time it's the best. Because I want to fit the Radiator into the upper level in the future with an other housing, I ordered einbaublende. That is a good opportunity to make it into my system now too.

What I'm about to do is the following:
- Make the einbaublende at the top, with 2x 12cm fans under it. Outtake
- Make at the therefor open places at the back of my housing 2x 8cm fans. You can see those at the picture, behind the hard drive rack. Intake
- Place the radiator without fans under de floppy drive, at the first 2 5,25" racks.

Is this a good solution?

Have you had a look at the external mounting?

I think it doesn't look too bad :)

gsjosh, you might place your fans and radiator this way, but
you might want to revive your moddings skills and build something
like a duct. this is to assure the air would go directly THROUGH
the airplex - and will not bypass it. by that, you should be able
to increase the efficiency and get somewhat lower temps.

edith wants to add, that it would also be an idea to mount the
airplex in the left side of your tower - so where others have
their windows, you will have your airplex mounting plate.

so far.

Thanks for those good reactoins, but I figured out those kind of solutions likely. I knew about the external mounting for a long time but I think it's not good looking with my mod. :( Besides it's expensive and that's just not what I want.

About that airduct idea, yeah, that's pretty well figured out and probably the best way to do it for now. But do not underestimate my mod skills ::) An air duct is allready part of my system :P. Maybe you think my housing looks like the picture but that was just the best picture to show how to place my radiator. That was about an half a year ago. Let's see how it's looking now:

About that solution with taking the radiator on the side, I think that's ugly and makes the computer take away a lot of space.

So please comment me:
- 2x80mm fans in the back of the housing
- 2x120mm fans at the top of the housing
- Radiator under the upper level, in the first 2 5,25" bays
- An airduct to it.

For NOW I think that's the best solution, what do you think?

In the future I want to make my own radiator, under my desk. So that my legs are warmed up while I'm computing :). Is my pump strong enough for that?

I made a choise to go for the Hydor L 20 and not for the eheim. I won't discuss it, maybe if you have a good reason, but how do I assemble this pump?

What kind of set do I need to fit it into my plug & cool system? I see:

- Entkopplungsset für Eheim und Hydor-Pumpen
- plug&cool Anschlussatz für Hydor L20

Wich one do I need or do I need both?

the "anschlussatz" is what you need to connect your pump to
the tubing - the "entkopplungsset" is for preventing the pump
to make your whole case vibrate. so you'll need the first one.
