Aquaero 5 Waterblock Fittings

vendredi 9 septembre 2011, 00:00

Hello,

Does anybody know if the Aquaero 5 Waterblock will fit 2 compression fittings? I saw an install where the person had to use one 45 degree rotary and a standard compression.

This fitting from Bitspower looks like it sits high enough above the waterblock screws.

Will two of these fit the waterblock?

The typical BP compressions did not fit mine. The were too thick/ports too close. I suppose you could try, but to my knowledge, compressions won't work since the ports are too close.

what kind of fittings did you use for yours?

I used two compression on both of my Aquaero's, one 45° & one straight no worries :)

Ahh Right :)..... I should have mentioned in my last post the two straight compressions wouldn't fit, I tried with Bitspower & standard straights & niether had enough room, Hence why I went for 1 x 45° & one striaght on the post you first saw it in.
On my new build I have two 45° fittings because I needed the tubing to go a certain direction. So either 1 x 45° & one straight will have enough room or 2 x 45° fit OK as well :)
