AC Flow sensor "high flow" G1/4 - Flow direction?

Monday, December 22nd 2014, 6:25am

I'm placing an AC Flow Meter (link) into a loop and need to confirm if flow direction matters on this unit? There is no manual or IN or OUT indicated on the meter itself. Looked around the forum so please forgive me if I missed it

Thanks.

The flow direction in this case doesn't matter, because this flow meter just generates impulses to measure the flow rate, that's the reason why you need to set a calibration reference value (169 impulses per liter) to interpolate the right flow rate.
