aquaero profile save/load

Sunday, November 8th 2020, 3:50am

Just noticed my aquaero's default location to save/load profiles has changed, and I cannot find a setting to specify the location.

The previous default location was 'Program Data>aquasuite-data>profiles' (profile_location_old.jpg)
Now the default location is 'Documents>aquasuite>profiles' (profile_location_now.jpg)

I forced a save/load to the old folder, but on restart the result remained fail.

How/where does one correct the default location?

Quoted

Documents>aquasuite>profiles
this is the NEW default location, you cant change this location.
You can copy your old profiles to this location or manual select a other location when you import/axport a profile.

Please consider allowing the user to specify the default location, as does most every other software program.

This does NOT belong in the 'Documents' folder, and yet it creates the folder EVERY time one selects import/export, irregardless of where one saves/restores to/from.

I agree, I was always ignoring it, but would be refreshing If aquasuite could follow users choice of location without persistently creating folder in documents anyways.

aquasuite is still creating the folder 'program-data>aquasuite' before I select a save-to location.
It would be preferable if you created the default location, if none is user specified, AFTER giving the user a chance to specify the location.
