The aquaero is able to run autonomously, meaning without a USB connection or the aquasuite loaded. Particularly useful for Unix, et al.
It also has a built in virtual temperature sensor function.
The quadro requires a USB connection and the aquasuite, but can control an aRGB strip.
If you keep the aquaero, instead of cutting your case to mount it, you may want to consider removing the display (making an
aqauero LT), which is much easier to mount.
