Highflow Next sensor air ingress with Leakshield

Thursday, March 20th 2025, 11:26pm

Hello.

I've noticed a large amount of air bubbles coming immediately downstream of my Highflow Next flow sensor on pump startup. This happens after leaving the computer/pump off overnight but still under vacuum from the Leakshield, typically 400mb neg. I did some testing of different components and it appears that while the Highflow Next is not leaking water, it does allow air ingress under vacuum.
Is this typical for the Highflow Next or do I have a faulty unit? I'd be disappointed if it's inherently incompatible with the Leakshield as I like the sensors it provides.

Thanks for your input!
