Best setup for fan curves

Monday, April 19th 2021, 6:55am

Hi, I currently have an Octo with a temp sensor at the inlet of my resivore, another at the outlet of my radiator then the last as an ambient for the air temp at my main intake. What would be the best way to utilize this info to control the fan and pump curve? Thanks

If you ask this question to 5 people you will get 5 different answers :-)

My opinion:
Adjust the pump so that it produces an acceptable noise for you with good flow and forget about regulating the pump.

Use the temperature sensor value at the radiator output to control the radiator fans. How you control depends on your goals, should the water temperature, and thus the component temperature, be as low as possible, or should the system be as quiet as possible?

Other temperature values are nice, but not necessary for a control, at most to determine the efficiency of your cooling.
