leakshield thin walled tubes limit?

Sunday, March 13th 2022, 12:12pm

I can see the leakshield requirements says : All components in the cooling system must be qualified for the configured negative pressure. Especially soft, thin walled tubes are not suitable

Can I use my current tubes with leakshield? I am using:

Thanks in advance for any answers you might provide.

I tried different 12/10 er hoses, the result always remained the same.
The hoses have contracted first on bends and over time also on straight.
I would therefore recommend switching to 16/10 or acrylic/PETG.

Of course, it also depends on the vacuum used, if you use a system with low pump power it may work.
