all been working for over a year, fresh install (latest, x.83) yesterday (win11), now virtual software sensors from the playground cannot be used on the quadro.
i created the sensor from windows hardware (highest of current gpu or cpu), then added to a software sensor slot on the quadro
when i go to the fan curve it doesnt list it as an option.
i can use results from other aquasuite hardware (have the quadro, high flow next and leakshield)
if i set a virtual sensor to be e.g. water temp from high flow next works fine.

if i change that quadro software sensor that works (highflow next) to the virtual software (smoothed peak temperature) it looks to be working in that it populates correctly (also on the desktop background/wallpaper)
however in the fans section it can only see the 4 physical sensors and the the virtual sensor for the water temp from the highflow next

i have set a quadro software sensor to one that works and then configured as the data source for a fan curve. if i then change the software sensor and go back to the fan curve page it looks like working (populated in the data source) but if i try to change it by clicking on the data source list it still isnt an option...

factors that may be relevent:
during install windows AV detected as a virus, so i set an exclusion and reinstalled
i reset the factory default on the quadro (no improvement)

searching the forum the main results indicate safe mode, however service is running with a dedicated admin user and in aquasuite doesnt have to button to change to admin or to start in safe mode. also maintenance mode is not on.

following on from above...
completely uninstalled (removing files when prompted), rebooted, new install
configured new virtual software sensor -> added to quadro in software sensor slot -> result - only the 4 show as options in fans section
changed that slot to show temperature with data source of the temp on the high flow next -> result - 5 show
configured 2nd software sensor on quadro with the virtual software sensor -> result - doesnt show in the fans section
change 2nd software sensor slot on quadro with (data from aqua computer service -> aqua computer hardware monitor -> ryzen xxxx -> Core (Tctl/Tdie) -> result - shows in fan section
so its only virtual software sensors not showing...

ok so on the virtual software sensor in the output the default was "integer, Z"
i changed this to "degC"
result -> suddenly appears as an option.
so user error.

now need to find a way to export all settings so i dont need to spend half a day re-inventing the wheel every time i wipe the puter...
