Intel Xeon (Prescott) EMT64

Hi,

sagt mal:

seh ich das gerade richtig das die aktuellen Xeon CPUs von Intel mit ihrem EMT64 Befehlssatz bereits 64 Bit OS unterstützen?

bzw. ist der 64-Bit Befehlssatz hier wirklich shcon nutzbar?

ja ist er aber nur bei der neuen 7xx reihe von intel. die haben dann auch 2mb cache und ein fsb von 1066mhz.

Aber nicht Prescott, sondern Nocona ;D. Mit passendem Board und Win64 BEta oder Linux solte es eigentlich genau wie beim A64 nutzbar sein

Hä?

Die Intel 7XXer Serie mit 2 MB L2 Cache ist aber der neue Pentium M oder nicht?

Bei den aktuellen Prescott XEONs wird EMT64 doch ebenfalls schon in der Feature Liste aufgeführt... oder schmeiß ich da gerad weas durcheinander?

Hat mal wen Link für mich?
