fat is ne erfindunv von MS und hat somit nichts mit Linux zu tun, allerdings denke ich das sich die 4gb Dateibegrenzung ebenfalls auf fat bezieht, weil dort gibts sie ja....
Eine "Linux" Festplatte kann also schon die dvd images nehmen, nur die alte "Microsoft" Festplatte nicht....

weiß grad nich, was ich fürn festplattenformat im mac os x hab...
(benutze bootcamp + winxp home)
wäre schön, wenn ich von meiner windowspartition auf die mac os x partition zugreifen könnte..
