Aquastream vs Aquastream XT

What are the advantages of the Aquastream XL as opposed to using the old style Aquastream along with an Aquaero. Trying to decide if it is worth getting three (3) new pumps for my Feeding Frenzy project. I have two older Aquastream pumps now and it looks like I will need to buy at least one.

I suggest you're talking about the Auqastream XT...

I'm not exactly sure, what the old controller was capable of, but depending on the version of the XT you're buying, you have the following features directly implemented on the pump itself:
- USB-port
- fan-output
and the option to connect
- temperature- and
- flow-sensors
The pump is also capable to recognize rotation of the impeller and to automaticly recognize the maximum frequency. The maximum delivery height is now 4,2m.

Just download the aquasuite and run it in demo mode so you will get an better idea of all features.

Well what I was thinking about was using two older Aquastream pumps hooked up to the Aquaero and using one Aquastream XT in stand alone mode (no connection via USB or is that even possible?)
