hab eigentlich vor gehabt da linux mitn 2.6er kerlel aufzusetzen
abstecken ist gut gsagt
das ding ist ein hp netserver LH 6000 wenn dir das ding was sagt
da hängen die hdds dran also besser gsagt das hotplug board und der scsi raid controller von hp aber das ist alles auf der hauptplatine drauf
allerdings hab ich da was gelesen auf der debian seite
also 2 lösungen:
1) remove sym53c8xx from kernel and make ncr53c8xx default - this driver probes the devices safely. it should also support all sym/ncr controllers, but does not support special futures of newer models.
2) alternativly, add kernel parameter "sym53c8xx=safe:y" or make comment to the installation help, sth. like:
Old NCR-810 SCSI-Controller: safe:y

und @2 lösung wie mach ich das wenn ich das von der cd installiern will???
kenn mich mit kernel nicht so gut aus oder besser gsagt gar nicht
