Hello,

I am french to and i want to order a eheim 1250 for my watercooling setup...

I will make a watercase with 1m50 long tube from PC to Wcase...

Do you think that eheim 1250 will be right for this setup...?

Do you think that eheim 1048 will be right fo this setup...?

Hi

If have got 2 Auqadrives, 1 AquaTube, 1 Airplex, TwinPlex GraphicCard, TwinPlex NorthBridge, CuPlex and about 4 Meter PUR.... Eheim 1048 works well.

Highest elemtent (AquaTube) is about 1,5 Meter higher than eheim 1048..

So I think it will work such as god in your System

Hi Okipa,

nice to meet another french ;)

All eheims doesn't make very much noise.
The 1048 is fine for your setup, especially with a seperated "watercase".

Did you ever taught about using P&C in your system, would be much comfortable and safe.
Asus A7V-333 Raid, Athlon XP 1900+, 2 x 256MB Kingmax PC-333 5ns RAM; Asus Geforce 4 Ti V8440; Terratec DMX 6fire 24/96; Sony CD-RW CRX160E; Pioneer DVD-106S; 80GB Seagate Barracuda IV, uvm. ;)

The 1048 should fully suffice for this setup. The 1250 is a little bit oversized. You only need a monster like this when you've got really long tubes or large altitude differences (e.g. you put the Radiator in an adjoining room).

The noise difference of the pumps is usually negligible. Well, at least as long as you don't have bad luck and the pump starts to rattle like Tim2460's. But this can happen with all Eheim-Pumps.

hi, welcome to this forum
i think that both pumps would be ok for such a setup
the main difference would most possible be that the 1048 eventually would need the so-called eheim-mod (in fact it's a VERY simple procedure!) which in no case is needed for a 1250
though the 1048 would do the job just fine, the 1250 isnt really neccessary :D

edit: do i really type THAT slow? ???
