aquaero 6xt and 2x ac d5 aquabus pumps

Hello, i am planning to buy 2x ac d5 aquabus pumps and want to control them with the aq6 xt unit.Should i just buy this aquabus y-cable

and plug it to high connector on the back of aq6 xt and job done?

Yep!

You will have to initially plug your pumps by USB to set them to be controlled by Aquabus, give them each an Aquabus address, save the config to each pump and the job will be done, you will be able to control them with the Aquaero.

Note that if you remove the USB cable after this set up, you will be able to control the pump by the Aquaero, but you will loose the RPM signal of the pumps in your Aquasuite.

thanks for the information is there a reason for removing the usb cable after this set up ?

Well, maybe you would like to free some USB ports for another use, or maybe just free your case of some wire. :)
