I recently upgraded from AS 2013-x.x to AS 2014-1.3. I'm running the latest version of Win 8.1 Enterprise (x64). Since upgrading my system regularly (e.g., daily) locks up due to AS crashing. I've had to resort to disabling AS from automatically starting on Windows boot now.
While this "fixed" the issue it is far from ideal. I've never had these issues with AS 2013-x.x.
