True. the free version does not get updated features. But if you don't want to pay for development of new features, it is available.

The aquasuite is NOT included with the aquaero, it is a separate product.
Aquacomputer provides a no-cost copy of the latest version, IF you have recently purchased their hardware.
Otherwise, if you want the latest features, you update your license, or keep using your existing license.
