Hey guys, I was wondering if you could give me some tips for wiring up an AQ6LT externally.

I want to use one on our new credenza. As it will have quite a few fans throughout it to cool all my tech.

I want to power the AQ6 through some type of wall wart or I should say a power brick. However I still want to be able to connect the USB to the HTPC to Aquasuite to adjust settings and such.

I read a few places of blown AQ5s due to this use case and just want to make sure I will be damage free. (They were however using laptops). Any tips on how to stay protected while doing this?

Just one hint: make sure that the power supply of the aquaero and the PC where you want to connect it via USB use the same power socket. If you power them through different sockets you could get problems with the ground potential which can damage the devices.

So their power is a tad convulted, but all ends the same. They go to a power strip, which leads to a line filter, which goes to a UPS but if both are plug into the strip that's fine right?
