calitemp



Calitemp is a digital aquabus temperature sensor of the latest generation with excellent resolution and accuracy over a very wide temperature range.
The sensor has a G1/4 internal and external thread and can be mounted in an extremely space-saving manner on a CPU block or a radiator for example.
The sensor is effectively shielded against external temperature influences by a silicone housing.
The connection cable of the sensor is plugged in so it is easily possible to apply a sleeving.



To operate the sensor, an aquaero 5 or aquaero 6 with firmware version 2100 (from aquasuite 2018) or newer is required. The sensor is connected to the aquabus port of the aquaero. The aquaero supports a single calitemp sensor without additional hardware, alternatively a maximum of four calitemp sensors can be connected to an aquaero via the new aquabus X4 hub presented below.



The resolution of the sensor is 0.01°C. The sensor used in calitemp has the following absolute accuracy:

In the application range for water cooling: -5 °C to 50 °C: +/- 0.2 °C
In the extended range: -20 °C to 100 °C: +/- 0.5 °C

aquabus X4 hub



The aquabus X4 hub for the aquaero 5/6 series provides four aquabus connections for additional aquabus devices.
aquabus splitter cables are usually used to connect several aquabus devices to an aquaero; the aquabus X4 hub, on the other hand, provides four independent aquabus connections. It reduces the number of splitter cables required for complex aquabus configurations.
Furthermore, the aquabus X4 hub is not just a splitter: the electronics of the hub provide a separate aquabus signal for each of the four aquabus connections to ensure a reliable communication.

The aquabus X4 hub requires an aquaero 5 or 6 with firmware version 2100 (from aquasuite 2018). The board can be mounted directly on the aquaero 5 or 6 with the supplied mounting accessory.
