Hello!
I have a very basic understanding of the Aquaero family of products. I am currently using an Aquaero 6 XT with a Swiftech D5 (powered via molex and controlled via mobo) and an AQ-53068 flow sensor. Eight fans are being controlled via the four fan headers on the Aquaero.
Here's the issue:
I will be upgrading to a dual loop soon, and I have a bit of confusion regarding how to set all of this up.
A) I will be using three Splitty9's for control of 1) Six CPU rad fans, 2) Six GPU rad fans, and 3) Seven case fans. I will simply use three of the four fan headers on the Aquaero for these. I am confused regarding setting these Splitty9's up in Aquabus mode vs. using them as a normal PWM hub. Does using AQ mode enable individual control of each fan on the Splitty9? I do not need individual control -- more of a technical inquiry.
I control my fans via the temp sensors (ambient delta vs. coolant temp).
B) What will be the best way to hook up the D5's? Should I just continue to run these from my mobo? I don't really change the speed of my pumps once I get them dialed in.
C) How the heck do I hook up two individual flow sensors? Can I simply split the "flow" header on the Aquaero? I cannot remember if these connect via Aquabus -- pretty sure they are only connected via the "flow" header.
D) Finally, I will be using a Farbwerk for lighting control. I see that it also has two "bus" headers -- I assume these are Aquabus headers? If the flow sensors in C (above) do not use Aquabus, do I just connect the Farbwerk via the single Aquabus header on the Aquaero?
For reference, my loop will be Reservoir --> Pump --> Flow Sensor --> Radiator --> Drain --> CPU/GPU --> Reservoir
Thanks in advance -- I know this is a lot
