Aquaero 6 Pro problem with controlling PWM fans

Mittwoch, 5. Juni 2019, 20:51

Just got my new build booted up with an Aquaero 6 Pro controlling 18 PWM fans through two splitty9 and can't for the life of me figure out the software or how to accurately control the fans.

I get no rpm-reading no matter if I set the control method to Power, Speed or PWM, occasionally a number flickers up and then it goes down to 0 again.

I've set the jumper on both splitty9 to be controlled by aquaero.

The only way I can control the rpm of the fans is to adjust the maximum power slider.

so 9 fans on 2 channels through 2x splitty9, what make/model are the fans?
"no shit lady, does it sound like i'm ordering pizza?"

I've set the jumper on both splitty9 to be controlled by aquaero.

If you have the jumper set to "aquabus", then it's wrong.
That is for splitting the aquabus communications bus, which connects all 4 wire for all ports.
You want the other jumper setting, which will only forward the RPM signal for the port marked RPM.
