Connecting D5 PWM 41105 with aquaero 6LT?

Mittwoch, 19. Juni 2019, 17:53

Hello everyone!

I'm new here and need some help!

1/ I just got a D5 pump with PWM (ref 41105) (instead of the D5 with aquabus that was my first choice but no longer available) and would like to connect it to the aquaero 6LT but where? fan pwm? or pwm 1 or 2 (even if I read in the manual that those are "not compatible" with pumps)?
2/ How the aquaero 6LT should be connected to the CPU fan?

thank you!

Correct, do NOT use the two ports marked "PWM 1 & 2" for pumps or fans.
And correct, use the four Fan ports for PWM pumps and fans, just select "PWM controlled" under the Advanced section of the aquaero fans tab.

Hopefully you can set your motherboard BIOS to ignore the CPU FAN status. If not, the far right, lower port on the aquero marked "RPM" generates a synthetic RPM that can be connected to the motherboard's CPU fan header to spoof the motherboard.
