I believe the only sensors the aquaero RGB controller works with are temp sensors.
Which parameter have you assigned the alarm to? A temperature?

I don't think the alarm function can be used as a source for the RGB controller.
But if the source is temperature, you can make it act like an alarm and switch color at a given temperature... but only one color.
I have mine set to blue, and it switches to red if the Coolant/Air Delta goes greater than 5°... no gradient shift or transitioning.

EDIT: one way may be to make multiple profiles with various preset colors for the LED.
On Alarm Level 0, Load Profile1, which has the LED color preset to Green
On Alarm Level 1, Load Profile2, which has the LED color preset to Yellow
On Alarm Level 2, Load Profile3, which has the LED color preset to Red

I personally use the water temp sensor plugged into the AQ via Farbwerk to control my lighting from Blue, Purplish than to Red.

The gradient method was what I used to use also, but I decided I wanted a harder signal when I reached my trigger temperature.
So I went for an instant color switch at the 5° Δ... really catches the eye.
