kryoM.2 evo PCIe 3.0/4.0 adapter

Montag, 10. Februar 2020, 04:00

Anyone has personal experience with this adapter. I was looking at these two: Product #: 53246 and Product # 53223. If I'm not mistaking, one has clear plexi and the other doesn't and that's the only difference.
It would be for my sons new Samsung 970 Pro M.2 NVMe PCI-E Drive. What I'm wondering is, is that a single slot heat sink, hes got sound card, wirelesses card and GPU installed so there is only 1 slot left.:)

The 53246 has two coolers, one on the top side and one on the bottom side. It is compatible with M.2 2280 SSD.
The 53223 has one cooler on the bottom side. It is compatible with M.2 2280, 2260, 2242 SSD.

Both of them fit in 1 slot.

Well I got some feedback from owners of the coolers and I have also seen some reviews on NewEgg I think I pass, at least for now. It seems there is an issue with the bracket been oversized and causing some issues.
There are few reviews on New-egg and some of them claiming the same thing. Surprisingly my nephew got one few weeks ago and he’s not to thrilled so I might go pay him a visit to see for myself, unless Aquacomputer has already corrected (if that is, or was the issue)
Maybe AQ can chime here and clear this talk regarding this supposedly oversized bracket

The bracket has been adjusted 1 year ago.
