Fan splitters should be no issues. To correctly read connected fans rpm, an RPM pin to Quadro should have been wired only from one fan of connected to splitter.
Most splitters have a mark "with speed signal" or "CPU" to the connector with wired rpm.
The maximum Power for each Fan Port is 12 Volt, 2 Ampere or 24 Watts.
The Quadro has Overcurrent Protection, it will disable the Fan Port if too much Power is used.
If you check the fan specs you can work out how many fans will safely work on each header, I personally used Splitty9's as I found it easier running the cables and tidier although more costly than normal splitter cables. I have a large tower though (Corsair 900D) so...
