Aquaero 6XT setup help

Mittwoch, 31. März 2021, 18:38

Hello,
I just received the high flow NEXT, so I can start assembling all the system.

My PC has a total of 12 Noctua NF-A14 PWM Chromax fans...6 on two GTX420 radiators and 6 as a intake / exhaust.

After reading the Quick Start Guide of the following components ( Aquaero 6XT,high flow NEXT, D5 NEXT, Splitty9, Splitty9 Active) I need some help in the various connections....can you tell me if this is correct?

Aquaero 6XT:
-USB port: to a mainboard USB 2.0 header
-FAN1 port: to SPLITTY9 nr.1
-FAN2 port: to SPLITTY9 nr.2
-sensors: to various sensors temperature.. question..are these sensors compatible (since I already have them)?
https://shop.bitspower.com/index.php?rou…=1963&limit=100
https://shop.bitspower.com/index.php?rou…=1655&limit=100
-FLOW1 port: to high flow NEXT "signal" port
-FLOW2 port: to D5 NEXT "FAN" port
-aquabus high port: connecting both high flow NEXT "aquabus" and D5 NEXT "bus" port, with cable 53124 (https://shop.aquacomputer.de/product_inf…roducts_id=2847)

high flow NEXT:
-aquabus port: to aquaero 6XT "aquabus high" port ?
-signal port: to aquaero 6XT "FLOW1" port for monitoring the flow ?
-USB: to a mainboard USB 2.0 header

D5 NEXT:-bus port: to aquaero 6XT "aquabus high" port ?
-fan port: to aquaero 6XT "FLOW2" port for monitoring the flow ?
-USB port: to a mainboard USB 2.0 header

SPLITTY9 nr.1 (6x radiator fans):
-input: to aquaero "FAN1"
-jumper: to "aquabus" position

SPLITTY9 nr.2 (6x intake / exhaust fans):
-input: to aquaero "FAN2"
-jumper: to "aquabus" positionQuestion..I am right in understanding that the SPLITTY9 ACTIVE splitters, differently from the passive models, cannot be controlled by the Aquaero 6XT unit?

Are these connections correctly done ?
Thanks for any kind of help and / or suggestions.
AA

-sensors: to various sensors temperature.. question..are these sensors compatible (since I already have them)?
The Aquaero requires a NTC Temperature Sensor with 10k Ohm at 25° Celsius. I dont know if the bitspower sensors are compatible.
Just try them. If they show the correct temperature, then they are compatible, if they show a wrong temperature, then they are incompatible.

high flow NEXT:
-aquabus port: to aquaero 6XT "aquabus high" port ? --> Correct.
-signal port: to aquaero 6XT "FLOW1" port for monitoring the flow ? --> Not required, Aquabus transfer the Signal, too.
-USB: to a mainboard USB 2.0 header --> Correct

D5 NEXT:-bus port: to aquaero 6XT "aquabus high" port ? --> Correct
-fan port: to aquaero 6XT "FLOW2" port for monitoring the flow ? --> NO! This will destroy your Hardware!!!!! Aquabus transfers the flow rate.
-USB port: to a mainboard USB 2.0 header --> Correct

SPLITTY9 nr.1 (6x radiator fans):
-input: to aquaero "FAN1" --> correct
-jumper: to "aquabus" position --> No, If you connect Fans, the Jumper has to be removed (or stays in default position)

SPLITTY9 nr.2 (6x intake / exhaust fans):
-input: to aquaero "FAN2" --> Correct
-jumper: to "aquabus" position ---> Same as above

Hello Hufeisen !
Thank you very very much !
Very helpful !!

Regarding the SPLITTY9 ACTIVE.... can you confimr if I can use it with aquaero the same way as the passive version or not ?
Thanks !

Yes, you can use the Splitty9 Active with an Aquaero, if the Sata power is connected to the Power supply unit.
Without the power from the Sata connector, the Splitty9 Active does not work.

And it depends on the position of the blue knob labled with "level"
If the Fans stop spinning too early, you need to rotate the blue knob...
I cant help you any further, because i do not own a Splitty9 active.
