hey folks, i've got an OCTO, and love it so far Barely scratched the surface of it and the Farbwerk360 i've got - great software!


I've also got 3 arctic fans I'd like to connect to it, and i'd like to use one of these to do so:

is this safe?
... this cable has a 4-pin Molex connection for extra power, as it is meant to power four fans. I only want to power 3.
If I'm following this correctly, the 4-pin PWM connector on the long end has ONLY yellow and blue wires, which are repeated along with red and black on the "with PWM speed signal' white tagged fan connector (call it #1).
The others (#2, #3, and #4fan connectors) that branch off only have red/blue/black.

soooooo am I safe to connect the single yellow/blue end, into an OCTO channel, and the other ends into fans (making sure to use the white tagged one for PWM signal) ?
aM WONDERING IF the OCTO MAY not like the fact that it is not powering the fans it is controlling via PWM?

I feel like this should be obvious, but it's been a long long day, lol.
