D5 Next Pump Fan RPM not working/registering.

Sonntag, 6. November 2022, 05:59

Hello,

I just finished putting together my first watercooled build but I am running into an issue with my D5 Next Pump. Upon turning on my PSU the water was able to cycle through my loop; however, it appears as though my pump fan is not working at all.

Note: I assembled the system and filled it with water once before (just to flush it with Blitz's part 2 solution) and everything was working as usual. However, upon assembly/filling a second time it seems I may have caused the pump fan to no longer work.

I'm hooked up to the OCTO controller and I know it's not an issue with a loose molex cable as all my fans are also wired to this controller and turn on when I turn the PSU power on. What could I have done to cause this? Has anyone else experienced this issue with the RPM on the D5 Next Pump not registering? Is there a way I may be able to fix this? Any help would be appreciated thanks!

How is the D5 Next configured? Have you changed the setup such that it's configured for an external flow sensor? Is the fan spinning?

Try resetting the D5 Next to factory defaults.
