For socket AM5 processors we now offer a practical sealing frame made of silicone. The flexible material fits perfectly to the bulky outer contour of the heatspreader and effectively prevents thermal paste or liquid metal from getting into these gaps. The sealing frame can withstand very high as well as low temperatures and can also be cleaned easily if necessary, which means it can be used again and again.

The installation is very simple: The sealing frame is inserted into the processor's lock. Once the locking mechanism is closed, the corners of the sealing frame are carefully pressed into the recesses of the heatspreader with a finger and then the socket is being locked.
