I've had the Leakshield about a month and I was draining and
refilling the loop to make some changes. The leakshield threw an error
for about a day saying the vacuum pump was't running and indeed it
wasn't and it was dead silent. a day later it weakly started working
again. It now seems to be working normally, but I'm now afraid of
premature failure down the road. The case was turned on it's side with
power off while res was 80% empty. I'm thinking either 1) something is
plain defective 2) the membrane isn't water tight for some reason even
though it passed diagnostics and no nothing has ever touched the
membrane except coolant. 3) The pump has a weaker duty cycle than
expected that I somehow exceed. There was a leak test with a bad fitting
seal where it pumped for like 20-30 seconds before i realized what was
up and stopped it, but it was working during that test. And this was
after a day of rebuilding and leak checking several times.Any ideas why it was failing?
