I have a water block for my 8800gt. When i take the heatsink off there is thermal pads on the ram chips, do i need to use these with the waterblock or can i put thermal past on them. Do i need to use thermal pads on any other parts when installing this waterblock

Hmm i took mine off and used paste and i have had no problems... But if you left the thermal pads on i would say it wouldnt really make a diffrence.

often its better if u leave those pads on the ram chips because they are also used as spacer - the paste isnt that thick then the pads u know...
