Give AC a break ( Sorry bit of an essay.....

I promote AC products yet I never presume I know everything there is to know about them. So like many other members and guests I come on this site to either get help, information or join in any discussions.
Everyday I browse through this forum looking at the questions that are asked whether it’s someone needing advice on what to buy or a bemused member requesting help with problems they just can’t solve.
Yet all I have seen for the last couple of days is constant snipes, or suggestions that AC are either not professional or are discourteous or want a find really rude is the consistent griping about them not speaking or writing fluent English.
To be frank my German is like a tourist’s version limited to say the least.
Although yes it would be good if the entire site was in English but it is a German based site and from what I have seen there are plenty of people on here who have the answers and do put them in English. My website has no alternative language settings does this make me unprofessional or discourteous I have plenty of customers from Europe and Hong Kong and my site isn’t adapted for them yet they understand any orders have to be emailed across yet they don’t complain about it.
I will agree it is difficult to get previews with information on new or up and coming products for the future.
However it takes me only an extra 2 minutes of my time to just copy the info I want in German and paste to this site http://www.freetranslation.com/ and I have translated it for free Viola job done.
I know it can be frustrating or inconvenient not having the site in full English or not being able to obtain the products you require instantly however AC are not the average over commercialised company like so many other cooling manufacturers.
They don’t flood the market so when you get your AC set-up it’s a bit unique not every Joe Bloggs has got the same. Therefore I am asking not on behalf of AC but from my own opinion please stop posting unnecessary gripes about Aqua-computer. Obviously those members concerned about what AC should and shouldn’t do like the products they have bought so I find it really strange they complain so much.
Bottom line is that no one gets ignored the products are good and yes you may have to wait a while to get your order normally not that long but isn’t it well worth the wait.
For those that who cant compromise on the site not being in full English may I suggest perhaps a few lessons learning German I personally have managed fine using translating tools. Finally on a last note in this english forum it was mentioned about wanting a friendly community like the German members have got. I dare say that like me they are a bit envious of the wider scale of members on there who all have the same enthusiasm for AC gear.
I just can't see us getting a warm welcome if all you do is try to show AC in a bad light with no real justified reason.
No doubt some will reply on this saying the above is absolute rubbish but i always say everone is entitled to their own opinion.

Nice post and I can see your point of view. However, something funny happened to me today that was a bit of odd humour. I thought very strongly of posting it here about this subject. Since A-C has been ignoring this whole subject I decided not to as what would be the point. Instead I sent it via PM in hopes that someone at A-C will wake up and perhaps do something about it. :)

I will try the link you gave to translate, but so far my translation tools seem to just give me gibberish. I kind of get the main idea, but as they say here in the colonies "the devil is in the details." This is especially true when trying to ascertain a highly complex subject with many words not often even in any dictionary whether it be English or German. Sometimes it takes years for nomenclature that is widely used in a given industry to filter out into general parlance.

Part of the problem is that coming across in a written language makes for little inflections being missed that wouldn't be missed in person. However, that is the way it is and until we have a universal language we will always be a united people separated by an uncommon language. ;)

As I pointed out in the last thread the solution to all this is to be mindful of where our interests lie and where they do not. If A-C's interests don't lie in the English speaking countries then so be it. Ditch the English site and everyone will just move on to something else. If it does lie in their interests then they will continue to do as they have and build on it, which by the way will make a lot of English reading people quite happy if they don't happen to know German. ;D

Another thing to keep in mind is who your customer is. For people in America their customer is directly IT-Trade, but they also have indirect customers that are dealers and consumers. When it is all said and done with, their customer is the consumer. No consumer = no demand = no sales. Therefore it should be obvious to all that we are in a market driven consumer industry, correct? Consumers want to be able to go to a manufacturer's website and get information and help aka tech support.

There doesn't seem to be much of a problem getting tech support here on this site from my perspective. I also see A-C people out in some of the forums worldwide giving the same tech support. I assume they do as well in other languages that I couldn't even fathom like French or Spanish. So one of the consumers points are being met. All we would like is to have the second item of consumer interest be followed through on. There is an English website so how about just updating it a bit? Is that so hard to do or understand?

Perhaps others rag on A-C people here about their English skills. However, I am definitely not one of those except in rare jest. I am quite impressed with anyone who takes the time to learn another persons language so they can talk to someone who wouldn't otherwise be able to converse with them. :clap: :clap: ;D :-*
