Aquaero v5 XT LEDs

Hello AC Forum,

I love the look of the v5s and hope to be ordering one in the next couple of months.

The only issue I have with the XT is the red LEDs.
Purely for aesthetic reasons, would an LED swap be possible? If so, what size would be required?

Doing an exchange of the LEDs is VERY difficult. You would have to disassemble almost the whole display and need a very specific type of reverse mount LEDs which are rare. No idea which color you want to have but likely that it does not even exist for this LED type. The next problem would be the power. The PCB is optimized for the red LEDs so other colors might not work correctly.

It is a shame. I currently have a blue/black theme for my rig and was hoping to stick with it.

It doesn't matter as the Pro will serve as a suitable replacement with equally pleasing results.
