Hi All,

Just got an Aquastream from eBay, Building on a budget.

Just a few questions if I may,

1. The pump Flex was shortened and the previous owner used Paper Masking Tape as a insulator :-/ I just want to make sure I have rewired Correctly, Looking at the pump conector with the cable entries at the top it was wired Brown to Left and Blue to Right is this correct? (see Q3)

2. The controler came without bay mounting so just bare circuit board - Board Rev 3.5, Firmware 1.31 is this the latest?

3. Before Rewire, I connected everything to an old PSU for testing , Jumpers 1 and 2 left open and 3 set.

3.1 - Started psu usual way GRN and BLK, LEDs flashed, psu shut down!

3.2 - Start PSU Pump disconnected from controller, Constant GRN 3 Red Flash (expected) Plugged in Pump started sequence the shut off a few second later

Anyone know why 3.1 and 3.2 happened? or is the controller going down the pan?

A bit odd that when set up how the manual says it causes the PSU to shut off.

Hi Shoggy,

opps forgot my password, anyways all working ok now it was akward PSU just plugged an old hdd in all was ok.

Never knew some PSUs shut down if not enough being drawn!
