Just a quick question

What is the maximum safe temperature for the "VRM" On the aquaero 5 XT

The maximum rating for the voltage regulators lies far beyond 100°C but of course we don't want to have such temperatures. The aquaero shuts down the fan output at 95°C.

If you already own an aquaero you will see a significant improvement of the maximum power with the next firmware.

I have the XT and it has arrived without the VRM heatsink. All documentation states that with the XT, the heatsink ships fitted to the Aquaero XT and waterblock is optional add on accessory.

I have neither....just bare VRMS. :(

Send a mail to info <at> aqua-computer.de to get a heatsink. Seems someone forgot it while assembling the device
