Is AIDA64 using Shared Memory or WMI to communicate with aquasuite?
Might try swapping between the two, to see if that helps..

both of those are checked and swapping them to and fro crashes aida64

mhmm... I swapped between WMI & Shared Memory in AIDA64 without crashing issues.

If you have both activated, the only thing I can think off is to deactivate one and see if that helps.
Personally, I prefer Shared Memory because I believe it to be faster than writing to, and reading from disk.

Do you have a Corsair AX---i PSU with CorsairLink installed?

no corsair link,no aisuite or fan controllers
deselecting either WMI or Shared Memory crashes aida64.

I prefer Shared Memory because I believe it to be faster than writing to, and reading from disk.
WMI is also located in RAM. But WMI needs significant more cpu performance than Shared Memory.

Thank you for the clarification Sebastian... greatly appreciated.

Perhaps to try uninstall/reinstall AIDA64?
Or install HWiNFO and see if you have the same result?

I had trouble with Aida64 as well. Switched over to HWinfo64 and have been problem free ever since. Plus HWinfo64 is free :)
